Winchester Personal Bests 2026 Welcome Packs

As we prepare for the Winchester Personal Bests, we have put together some Welcome Packs for our Coaches, Volunteers, Day Services and Family Carers. If you have any questions at all before the event, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We look forward to seeing you all for what promises to be another fantastic day.

We hope these packs give you a good feel for what to expect on the day and what you can do to prepare.

PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME TO READ YOUR WELCOME PACK THROUGH (click the link below).

📹 We also have a welcome video (at the bottom of this page) which we hope will help participants to prepare for the day.

Our LD Advisors have helped us to put together a short webinar about neurodiversity and autism. We recommend coming along to the live session onWednesday 26th August (6:00-7:00pm) on Teams*. There is a recording available here.

We also look forward to seeing lots of you at the volunteer briefing on Tuesday 1st September (6:00-7:00pm) on Teams*.

*The Teams links are in the Welcome Pack and it will be emailed to you - please check your junk folders incase it lands there!

Risk assessments

We recommend that all day services complete a risk assessment for the people they are supporting.

🐝 Insect bites and stings

As the event includes outdoor activities, we'd recommend bringing insect repellent and, where appropriate, antihistamines for anyone who is sensitive to insect bites or stings. It's something we learned from experience last year! 🐝
